Re: Flawed QB AWR progression

I have ran tests pre patch and after 3 years everything levels out. I think it had to do ith the LT giving up so many sacks on the qb that awrness would not do much but drop and if the qb was not sacked so much it would go up.one thing feeds of another on this game so if one thing is off so will 5 other things A new system ground up from players to ratings and not having animations matter more than ratings, cause when a animation locks in everything else goes out the window.

Re: Flawed QB AWR progression

Hi guys,

I've rerun the analysis of the QB awareness CPU progression after the 2 patches we have seen, mainly to see if one of the 100+ fixes was the CPU progression. The test is between weekly, every 4 weeks and end of season progression and the setup and players are exactly the same as before.

Sadly, this has not been tweaked or fixed and the QB regression for end of season progression is still quite severe, it creates quite the mess at every QB position a few years into franchise. Every 4 weeks is manageable but the best results occur when using weekly progression still.

Conclusion: continue using WEEKLY progression.

p.s. looking at other older players as they reach the twighlight of their careers annoys me, they lose AWR much quicker than accuracy which is not how regression occurs in real life... a veteran keeps his tricks and awareness as he ages, but loses his arm strength and accuracy. He does not become dumber... which is what is happening to the likes of Matt Ryan, Joe Flacco and Cam Newton in all CPU progression styles (just weekly progression is less severe).

Ive been using weekly progression so based on your findings, that's not that bad!

Ok so I have been following this thread and threads about player progression but I don't even get where you can see player progression in the game. If I go to transactions I can see draft news, players who resign, trades, position changed, franchise tagged but I don't see player progression. If I look at the team tab I see my players but not the CPU players. If I look at rosters or depth chart I see rating but again no player progression. This is owner mode. What am I missing?

Re: Flawed QB AWR progression

The new patch has dropped but by the looks of it, nothing is listed that would obviously affect the QB awareness progression, nor the progression of other players beyond the new slider.

The new slider could massively change the CPU progression as there will be more xp for them to spend it could see a redistribution. I might look into this this weekend

I've seen a lot of reports already of regression issues going into the playoffs. QBs losing SAC and MAC by like 2-15 points! This is outrageous! Some of the QBs had outstanding years as well...40+ TDs and less than 15 INTs

Cmon EA......this is a joke

I just don't see how CFM is worth playing. Too many issues, as per usual, probably a month for another patch.

Re: Flawed QB AWR progression

A question to ask is - is the regression of the QB's going into the playoffs happening to QB's still in the playoffs or is it part of the "end of season" for QB's not going to the playoffs? Its a big problem if the regression is across the board, but I can understand it if its part of offseason regression... maybe not by that much though...
