Yeah, I try to use performance more than rating when cutting down my roster. Although, I do keep overall player talent in mind because if Dez Bryant finishes the Pre-Season with 4 catches, and Devin Street finishes with 12 catches, there is no way I will bench Dez for Street. But if the players are closely rated, I try to use game performance as a measuring stick.
