Is there a way to put a non injured player on IR?

I guess this is a stupid question that I already know the answer to, but I'm hoping maybe there's a trick or something.

I'd like to start a franchise with the Carolina Panthers with accurate real life rosters, but EA took everyone off IR a few roster updates ago. So that means Kelvin Benjamin is healthy in the game, and as we all know, in real life, he's been on IR since training camp. So is there anyway to do this? Tricks, workarounds, something?

No, I have not found a way to do this. You could over-use a player in game so his fatigue gets lower (more prone to injuries) and then put them back in the game whilst injured to land a bigger injury.


Pre-existing injuries worked poorly in franchise but I can't remember there being any warning of taking players off IR in the previous roster download...

You could Just not have him on your depth chart but that doesn't open up a roster spot.

You can put a non-injured player on IR because it's against roster rules of the NFL. EA gets that part right but can't get IR to work properly any other time. Go figure

EA needs to give us the option to manually injure players by editing them, the way NBA2K and The Show do. I dont even understand why that option is not there.
