Them working for a major company, and on a major title, I'm sure meeting deadlines is a part of the job... You can give specifics and meet them! These are write ups! They're not writing codes to develop a new game weekly - just write about whatever features they've added in depth. They already know everything they need to know. Nothing is new.

There's an approval process that's why they don't know when the blog will be up usually. Clint touched on it yesterday.

Not only will it be running from June 12 - 14 in Los Angeles, there will also be a London event on June 12. EA has confirmed that the recently announced Titanfall 2 will be joining three titles from its sports lineup, along with other games, at both events.

And to address the releasing of the blog schedule, in business, just like in life, murphy's law comes into play, whatever can happen, will happen.

If something comes up as an emergency or a higher priority, business wise, the blog takes a back seat. At that point, people on the net start raging because they don't understand that something of a higher priority came about.
