Really excited the in game ticker is in, but I'm disappointed there was barely any mention of the draft. At least we can make authentic draft classes but I'm assuming you can't download someone's draft class and everyone has to edit all the players on their own, which will likely be quite tedious. Plus the draft presentation needs quite a bit of work, and it seems like it didn't get much attention. I'll still buy Madden 17 but franchise still needs more addressing. At least everything they added this year was a step in the right direction.

I was looking forward to actual big additions is all.

Position coaches that determine how well that position earns xp and progresses?

A real wear and tear injury system?

active/inactive roster?

Better offseason FA bidding system?

Commissioner tools to lock user assist tools on or off?

a system to renegotiate current contracts to free cap space?

a real draft board?

all of those would have been better than all the things we got, imo of course.

EDIT: Not to mention team and player chemistry, morale, holdouts, etc.....

Given what EA's done in the past this is a big leap. It will be even bigger if they give us formation subs through a patch like they hinted at.
Yea my point was the past 4 years havnt been anything special in franchise mode so it wouldn't have taken much to be the biggest upgrade

Didn't one of those Big Decision injury pictures show Donald Penn, offensive tackle, being injured?

That could indicate off-ball injuries, or maybe it was simulated or something.

I thought there was some really good stuff added, especially the custom ticker, where we can remove displayed "goals", thought the realism of practice squads was great, kudos to them for the way they actually allow for other teams to raid each others practice players. Injury system seems way deeper but I'm still not quite sure how it all plays out, confused as if a player can initially be hurt and progress to injured/out if not rested or if this new system only kicks in after they are initially injured/out.

There is honestly nothing new I read or saw that I didn't like, it all was football fundamental, imo, propers to EA Tib on that. Also, like others have said, want to hear more about the draft. Oh, when I first saw the Mike n Mike video, I thought they were going with them like the Tony Bruno Show from M05, lol, not disappointed about that though.

The only issue I have is that XP seems out of place with this stuff and diminishes it for me. For example, I love many risk/reward aspects, the game planning, contract negotiation, injury management, etc but seeing XP tied into all of that great stuff, lessen the immersion of a real football virtual world.

Overall though good stuff and hopefully there is a way for a Commish to lock in XP progression and whatnot to "auto" for the whole league or at least be able to find a league that agrees with auto XP only.

This...I wonder if this has been touched at all. For instance, we know the Rams will be changing uniforms in the next couple of years, am I going to be stuck with their current set forever? Was really hoping for more customization here.
