I don't think anyone can argue that Madden is one of the best looking games out there... in stills. The graphics are excellent and, IMHO, don't really need much of an upgrade. Disclaimer, I'm not much of a graphics guy. I love realistic graphics as much as the next guy, but to me, MOVEMENT is the key. One of my biggest issues with Madden is how it looks when it finally starts moving. Graphics in this game don't need to change much between cycles. As technology continues to improve, we will see graphical improvements to go along with it. What I REALLY want to see is the player interaction and movement take that jump that we have been waiting for for over a decade now. There is still too much Gen 2 and 3 left in the game.

Like many others, I am hoping that the move to Frostbite makes Madden turn the corner and gives us the realism in player movement and interactions that the other AAA sports games have been able to deliver. FIFA has some of the best player movement I've ever seen. NBA 2k and the Show are also excellent. FIFA is using Frostbite, and from what I've seen from their trailers, it looks fantastic. The players look like they're really alive. That is what Madden desperately needs.
