Just played a few games.
Man the commentating is so much better and really adds to the game. Looks like the first time in a good while I won't be turning that off.

Went right in and lowered the QB accuracy/pass blocking and getting pressure and decent qb% looks like it is very doable.

Lots more gaming to go before a good impression but so far I'm very impressed.

Just started my first game haven't even ran a play yet but I already seen something on kickoff I didn't like. I kicked the ball about 3-4 yards in the end zone and the cpu kick returner downed it I'm pretty sure every kick returner in the game will down the ball when kicked about 4 yards in the end zone or more. This annoying issue has been in the game for years! I wish kick returners would return the ball from different distances in the end zone.

I've had some returned 2-3 yards deep.....
Plus this year you get ball at 25yrd line on touchbacks so there will probably be fewer returns than past years in real life when ball is in endzone.

Post draft commentary us on point.
They showed the draft class in the first preseason game. Then talked about my 4th round selection. As I was forcing the ball to the 6'6 WR

Soon as it hit's 4-5 yards deep they will always down it no matter what returner it is, need more variety, this is a legacy issue.

5 yards deep means they'd have to return the ball 30 yards just to get to where they'd get if they down it. Late in a game maybe needing something to happen then possibly a return try but otherwise it's the smart thing to do.

The commentary is much improved but it can be better. For example I just played a Play Now game with the Browns, first off the commentary during pre-game is generic, they say its going to be a Quarterback battle but never mention any of the Qb names. And also, during the game no mentioned of RGIII they act like he's been on the Browns the entire time. I would like more historical context, like what team they played for last year and things they've done in the past. One of the first things commentary teams do in real life is talk about the Quarterbacks, their needs to be more background commentary for every Qb, maybe they do this in Franchise Mode?
And last, Larry Ridley still only mentions last names during half-time, it would be so much better if he mentioned first and last names.
Besides these few things the new commentary is very good.

Yes it's the smart thing to do but in real life every single kick returner will not make the same decisions that's what I'm saying.
