teach me how to run please.
i don't hit sprint button, i don't get the chance too getting put down after the hand off normally.
if i get to follow a blocker i end up getting stood up after 3-5 yards.
i'm lucky to get around 20 yards from 30 attempts, making the game very one dimensional.
i've tried great teams, i've tried great backs with no joy.
my last madden game was 15 where running was overly easy but this is ridiculous.

That's interesting, cause I too only played 15 before this madden, and it seems like playing the run the same as I did in 15 works. I am very bad throwing the ball however, but running just seems natural for me.
Try to find plays you like maybe, that worked wonders for me, especially Stretches and Power runs, play in practice a lot untill you get the hang of it and then try it in a match

When u do decide to hit sprint don't hold down on it but hit it for a half of a second and let it go that's all u need to get that burst.

I don't use sprint hardly ever unless I'm on a kick/punt return, nobody between me and the end zone, or trying to turn the corner on an outside run once I've gotten out to the corner.

I hold R2 all the time in Madden 17 with no issues. In fact I just led the league in rushing with 1,454 yards. Then again my HB is an 85 speed Samaje Perine, so he needs to hit the hole with some sort of speed to get yardage.

Do you guys have any suggestions to mask a lackluster CB? I drafted Teez Tabor #5 overall, and in year 3 he is a complete liability in coverage. He's a 79 overall, yet he is consistently beaten by #2 receivers week in and week out. I've had to resort to playing zone coverage, as playing man or blitzing with him on an island leads to an easy catch and a first down. Even TE's are getting open on him at this point.

The rest of my defense is really good, the problem is Tabor is a glaring weakness.

Any tips on getting interceptions? I feel like no matter what, the CPU either makes a spectacular catch or almost does but drops it at the last minute.

Looking for some tips as well for those who play CB. How you position yourself after the snap, how you approach each play, etc.

Find it very, very tough to get INTs this year. I play on All Madden...
