Re: Online vs. offline

Most updates you get for cloud or offline CFM, and a restart isn't necessary. There are some times, like the XP sliders last year, that only cloud CFMs got.

I stuck with offline just because of server issues (seem to have them with Madden and other games *shrug*) and the suspend/resume feature.

Re: Online vs. offline

I'm curious if the commentary updates will be applied to existing cloud-saved franchises.

So y'all are positive that patches can apply after you start an offline franchise? I don't trust my connection or the ea servers.

How they have always worked in years patch, there are certain items in a patch when a restart is needed, but its very rare.

Re: Online vs. offline

Really torn with this but might go with online. The newest patch really pushes me to this as I 100% want to start now and want the lower rated rookies.

Does anyone think the AI plays smarter online rather than offline?

Re: Online vs. offline

I'm playing offline because of the server issues. They hit me a lot last year and in my testing this year, they hit again.

I am thinking about doing a second CFM online, but if I do, I'm going to do it in a Play the moment style, so the games are not as long, hopefully helping with the server issues.
