No swim move?

Anyone else have trouble attacking the QB with your lineman? I would love the ability to do a swim move like madden used to have. Whether I press the power or finesse move, my guy just does a 360 and is back to where he started. It's especially frustrating with a DE.

Success is based upon who you're using but, more importantly, how well you time the snap..and no I don't think there's a swim move anymore

There is. It's listed in the Traits section and can be purchased.

HOWEVER, I only ever see a useless spin move or a useful rip move. I don't think I've seen a swim this year yet.

But essentially its condensed into a finess move button, and a power move button, so it swims itself where appropriate.?

The best way to see your DE use his swim move is to switch your control to the DT beside him... and then watch the replay and the guy beside you at DE might use the swim move.

I've seen and done the swim move a few times, and while I am not absolutely 100% sure, I am fairly confident these are the moves you can do (using PS4 controls)

Power moves:

Rip move: square + right or left on the stick
Bull rush: square + move stick towards blocker

Finesse moves:

Spin move: X + right or left
Swim move: X + down on the stick (or towards the blocker)

For the swim move in particular you have to do it quickly. The timing is tricky, you basically need to do it the split second before the linemen gets his hands on you. If you are already engaged the swim is not happening.

I just do a 360 over and over also. It's pretty frustrating

I remember being at choose any move towards any side. Seems those options were taken away this year
