This. The NFL is the reason we don't have the sounds of big hits or even actual big hits in the game anymore. Same reason you don't see replays of big hits on sportscenter highlights and the "Jacked Up" segment was replaced with "Come on Man".

Re: Has EA acknowledged the SILENT TACKLES ?

Sorry, im not buying that......

If you told me the NFL was the reason they removed the flashing ambulance that drove out onto the field everytime there was an injury or they were the reason they removed the helmets randomly flying off in big hits.....ect, then I would say that made sense.

But if your gonna speculate that the NFL is responsible for normal impact/tackle sound fx missing from the game, I will say I dont believe it at all....To me this just looks like another EA oversite. Similar to the way they removed teams Win/Loss records from the League and Team Schedule screens!...They just screwed up!

I'm not one for the tin-foil hat crowd, but on this front, it wouldn't surprise me if they were told to tone down the violence, which could include violent sounds.

Re: Has EA acknowledged the SILENT TACKLES ?

Has EA mentioned that they would add sound FX to the tackles?...they are silent and its very annoying!

Go into practice mode where the sound fx are just isolated to the field sounds so you can really hear the lack of tackle sound fx!....The snap of the ball is there the sound fx of the trench blocking is there but when a player hits the ball carrier or sacks the QB its nothing but silent air...wtf??

Please tell me EA is aware and they are adding the missing sounds please

OMG! I seriously can not stop laughing at the buttery marshmallow thing. Omg that was funny. If anything, send them that message.....twitter or email. You will get their attention. Anyway Sure why not, I wouldn't mind the collision sounds. But it may be the reason mentioned about helmets colliding. Concussion, etc. Idk

I'm pretty sure they are looking to de emphasize the violence of tackling / hits on purpose.

In all honesty, I have yet to hear any pleasing tackle sounds in a football game...So to not hear anything is better than the fake sounding hits that have been the normal in football games.
