Rookie face scans would be nice, but cheerleaders and mascots don't fix progression or immerse us into our CFM game world.

Now if they had something like a weekly studio show, draft previews, free agency previews, etc. I'd gladly pay a small dlc fee for those.

I think the purpose for them is to offset the cost of CFM. Hardcore Franchise guys might not buy much, but MUT suckers might.

Monopolies are not part of the topic and that kind of discussion isn't allowed here, either.

I've also thought about this and think it could work. The issue is just whether they can make enough money off of DLC to justify the time & money spent creating the DLC and also taking more time to address other issues in CFM.

If the DLC is profitable and increases the perceived value of CFM, it would make sense that EA would spend more time fixing the mode based on our input, since we're directly funding the game with our DLC money.

A few other ideas for DLC:

- Additional created team cities, mascots for existing cities (i.e. more than 3 options per city)

- Additional created team stadiums

- Adding college coaches to the available staff pool (maybe difficult to get face scans/permission to use likeness, but would be interesting)

The whole point of this thread is that giving them more money will lead to them making a better game. That is a false assumption and goes against how business operates. More money means the product is already good and they will reap the reward. As far as the monopoly goes competition drives innovation which is not even debatable. Bottom line is that no business that is successful over the long run improves their product because it is making more money.

The whole point is about lack of budget, and creative marketing that today would mean 100% customer satisfaction, and a part of monopoly that is not the point of discussion(but trust me, you can loose customers also if you have any sort of monopoly if your product sucks, and a product that sucks not does conquer new market shares, as the undecided and the diffident peoples) is to give some interesting cosmetic DLC for who it wants, market should speak if DLC are sell well and gain bucks, the strategy is good, otherwise not. The creative marketing is about find different ways to increase income and made customers happy, and reinvest in the quality of product. Just study Al Ries theories. Is not really complicated to understand all the positive things that are related.

100% customer satisfaction is a myth....

If you would like to make sure this thread becomes closed, keep discussing and bringing up monopolies. If you would like to take that up with a mod, be my guest. I'm just letting you know it's a forbidden topic in this forum and shouldn't needed to be repeated again. There are other forums to discuss your monopoly theories.

So, the more profit a company makes, the more standard their profit becomes?

It's a good thing automobiles haven't improved over the past 30 years. The cars in those days could barely make it to 100,000 miles and you would be replacing mufflers and exhaust on every other oil change.

Automobile manufacturers compete for market share.
