Good luck, I will be trying this out soon too.
Yes they can be..but it helps CPU teams who have issues properly progressing players

I plan on trying the ootb version after my finals that are next week. I'll be sure to post several full game videos.

Re: Playing Madden 17 with no patches/tuners (Official Thread)

I always delete the tuning update. The game plays so much better. I would like to uninstall and play the ootb version. My concern would be for my Playbooks. I'm kind of a "X's & O's" geek(lol) and don't want to have to re-do my playbook. If I do uninstall it, will my playbook to deleted as well? Should I simply save it in the community files and download it from there? Thanks again.

Yeah it will be deleted, when you uninstall the game, all data/files are erased from the console. Definitely upload that to the community files!

Thanks ScCavs64. I just wanted to confirm that before doing it.

don't you have to get the patch, to get online, to retrieve your files?

Re: Playing Madden 17 with no patches/tuners (Official Thread)

The big bug bear for me playing an OOTB version would be the CFM cut logic. The CPU wouldn't take into account injuries in the 53 player count. So if you had 5 players on IR and signed or traded for a player, it would cut 5 "recommended" active players irrelevant of the contract they had (so rookie contracts were often lost).

Also, this might just be me having a brain fart, but in the patch, did they move "sign to PS" from Week 4 to Week 3 of the Preseason?

Also, the way season goals are initiated changes from Patched vs OOTB, just discussed it here:

http://www.operationsports.com/forum...son-goals.html

But having said that, the initial gameplay seemed really good and intense if not buggy, but now it feels less good and buggy in just different ways. Which set of bugs do you prefer??

At least for PS4..u can save playbooks, rosters, commentary, profile..etc..u will not lose those files
