I can confidently say that some games are effected. Not sold on Madden yet though.

I just picked up a PS4 Pro today. I'll try it out tonight.

Does anyone know what frame rate Madden normally runs at? I'm guessing 30.

60 in gameplay, probably 30 on in between-play scenes. It's no different on the pro - the regular ps4 pulled that just fine too. Madden doesn't really see much of a improvement on the Pro imo- it's already well optimized.

Boost mode might make the cutscenes faster when it goes live, but if those are locked to 30 fps there will probably be no difference there either.

And pro also suffers from the extreme slowdown in franchise xp drills/skills trainer that was introduced in the latest patch. That's on EA to fix, not Sony.
