As much as I love my MacBook, I will definitely get a gaming PC if madden is released for it.

The only reason why FIFA 17 wasn't moddable was that it was the first year of using the Frostbite engine. With a new engine, some of the tools that have been used for the past 5 years either needed updating or just didn't work anymore. Look at the 2k games on PC, did the first year suck? Absolutely, but it's getting back to 2K14 type of mods.

How much of that though is just modders having to deal with a new gaming engine in a sports game and how much is it the inability to mod the Frostbite engine?

Ive been a modder for a while, most recently I work on WWE for PC. Trust me, if it's on PC, there is someone, somewhere that will find new ways to mod all the time. It could be as simple as texture edits or as complex as scripting.

I would imagine IF Madden came to PC, we'd see mainly texture edits and such, nothing too complex for quite some time.
