i disagree, they dont care. they are not only the programmers but the marketing/sales/production etc team.
they is EA. when your lead contact unprofessionally has a go at a customer who asks a valid question about a patch on social media you know something is wrong in the house of denmark.
longshot didnt take resources away from cfm because there were no resources on cfm. some marketing peep decided longshot was good, probably as it was their idea, and the dev team had to dump cfm bits because i bet budgets were cut. a draft board where you can move players isnt exactly rocket science.
every year we are disappointed and what should we have next year threads pop up.
we as offline cfm customers are the Charlie Browns and EA is Lucy, and every one is Linus waiting for the pumpkin.

90 man preseason roster, cuts after the 4th week is over, cpu needs to utilize everything players can..

More features is always nice but two gamebreakers for me are:

1) SIM Stats - either give us slider control over them or make EXTRA sure you test them EVERY year. I don't want rookie QBs with Ideal pocket presence making DE's suddenly suck at getting stats 5-10 years into CFM. There's NO excuse for that XP missed bug that's around this year. Why do #2 backs score more TDs than starters with 2.8 yards per carry? Why can't you tweak the sim output based on things like 2 back/2TE systems, passes to receiving backs, etc?

2) Better AI and/or Commissioner Control. Those are musts before I buy another Madden game.
