I agree that Bryant is probably overrated; but, then, those involved with real football have been overvaluing him these last couple of years.

However, I will also point out that the difference between an 86 and an 82 overall team in CFM is not that great. Even ignoring the artificial rival game mechanics, I have had tough losses with my 87 Ovr CFM Cowboys against 82-84 rate teams, and then blown out 86-88 teams (and you see the same in sim results as well).

The variability in the real NFL, and in Madden in my experience, is such that any team within about 3-5 OVR is essentially an even match.
