Because expectations are ever growing no matter what, kind of the "give a mouse a cookie effect". With that said, I have been hinting for a while now that a lot of people are going to like the changes coming this year. They tried to take a lot of feedback in and deliver as much as they could during the year (9 months really) they had.

For me the initial enjoyment of Madden is never the problem, it's the lasting appeal. The game is never fresh enough to last past the first month to give me that feeling I used to get from football games. 18 I definitely played alot, but I couldn't tell you if it was because I enjoyed the game more, or I just enjoy playing an NFL game. I hope the new movement gives the game that freshness. Frostbite definitely did last year with the graphics, now we need to all to come together.
