There are a few artists doing that in the NBA. But 2k still gets it done. His tattoos are also in nba live. So what’s their angle. My point is if one modality can do it why can’t another ?

Again , not saying Dustin does not do a good job, but it seems the task is too overwhelming and possibly why things don’t make it in .

This video just really opened my eyes, because as far as tattoos go I was hoping EA could have preset tattoos similar to how they had in 05 for us to put on players as we please, but at this point if they cant even add a long piece of white tape on the back of players arms I know preset tats is a tall order. I really feel at this point making an accessory thread is pointless because the smallest addition in our eyes is the hardest addition for them to add, so I will just let EA add whatever they are capable of adding and save myself the frustration of expecting huge leaps.

I'm just thinking, depending on the outcome of these cases, I don't know if 2k will participate in tattoos anymore.

As for the current, we always here priority, resources and time and that is exactly what we heard in the video.

I'm not giving them excuses, that is what we hear.

I think Dustin does a great job with with the limitations he has to work with. He pounds programmers to get stuff in, and he's built an incredible authentic look to the modern game. Since he's capable of that, well, what do we want? MORE!

I had an idea a few years back where you completely revamp all face scans. ONLY, when you have the player come in you simply have them apply their game day eye paint and have them wear a mouth guard or respective mouth piece . This way when you scan their face, all of that info will be actually scanned to the face in the right position. Ea could go as far as have a player get two face scans. One without face paint and mouth pieces and one with.

This seems like it would work considering how much detail is captured in those scans and touched up for realism

The difference is that EA has already lost lawsuits over tattoos in video games (NFL Street 2) and they presumably don't want to lose more lawsuits because litigating lawsuits costs money.

It’s more about not settling. It’s bean noted that it’s all about resources that limits the additions to the game. It’s because of threads like this that we keep getting upgrades. Your thinking is its a Dustin thing in our minds . But it’s an EA thing and their allocation of resources .
