The fact they don’t have one single rock tune, country rock tune, even some great R&B and all this god awful new style of rap is a massive disconnect from the wide variety of fans who play the game.

Really insulting decision by Tiburon.

Agree! And if they were going to do all rap at least do good rap like 2Pac, Biggie, NWA, Public Enemy etc!!

Rap is only the most popular music right now. So they made more people happy than not. On top of that, not everybody wants to hear instrumental theme songs like in Madden 25. We're you complaining then?

Also, if you don't like it, turn it off. Simple as that. You don't have to get upset, or be insulted, you just turn it off and go on about your gaming.

The same can be said for those that seem to be offended that other people don't care for the soundtrack. It isn't even an attack on rap, it's an attack on the particular soundtrack they have in the game. Most here more likely than not have nothing against rap and listen to some of it.


From another standpoint, I'd say the lack of variety in the music makes it a bad soundtrack regardless if you like or dislike most of the songs. There really is no reason EA went away from having a wide variety of music.

I don't blame people for getting upset. Sure, rap is the most popular, but variety is nice. Even people who like rap, it doesn't mean that's all they want to hear. Honestly, I'd be just as annoyed if the whole soundtrack was country, and I like country. I was just hoping for a good mix. They used to have a bit of everything, I wish that was back.

I don't necessarily mind the soundtrack, per se, but if I'm doing a lot of work out of game like offseason, contracts, etc, I prefer more variety. It's not a bad thread topic, really.

I just turned it to the NFL films stuff. It'll do.
