offline you cant force it but if you turn the plug off at the wall it saves it, dont think it works another way on xbox unless im dumb

just stop game. and close application.. When you reboot, reload your franchise and once franchise is loaded, screen will pop up. CONTINUE Game.. just click on that it will return you to where you left off.

Two times I was playing a team in my offline franchise and the game crashed on me, both times when I restarted the application it took me right back into the game against the team I was playing.

I play offline franchise and I just hold the x button until the prompt comes up to turn off console. Hit that and when I start it back up it picks up right where I left off. On xbox1 of course
