Somebody please help:

What does auto-flip defensive play call turned "on" actually do?

I mean, I know the offcial in-game description but what is the result? Does it change formation or coverage type or both?

It flips your play to match the offense's alignment. No formation or coverage change.

It can sometimes change whose in coverage. Sometimes this is a problem, sometimes its gold. I love that it flips the 3-4 Predator so that the Predator LB/ROLB (who plays with his hand in the dirt) gets moved to the correct side, instead of making my LOLB the Predator LB.

Now if we could get it to do this with Strong Side and Weak Side backers and for teams that flip safeties, DTs, or other positions it'd be even better. I was hoping that was what they were building it for. Hope it is the case and they are ironing things out with it, but I doubt it is, honestly.
