Cool addition. The fact that it's almost March and football has been over for basically a month and they're still updating the game is awesome. Can't expect any major changes at this point but it's great to see they're still improving the game.
It's a great addition and it was sorely needed. As howaboutdat stated you can eliminate your fumble risk by spinning into contact. If you make the defender miss that's great, and if you end up hit in the back there is zero chance of a fumble.

Unfortunately, the OP ball carrier moves aren't going anywhere. This is one of the few areas of the game where MUT does leave its fingerprints on "regular" play, as MUT peddles upgrades which offer defenders immunity from being spun/juked out.

Thankfully, the problem is 100% fixable with roster edits. The top spin threshold is 88 SPM, and the top juke move threshold is at 90 JUK. AGI also determines how quickly the ball carrier move animation completes, and the top threshold there is also 90.

^^^ Two actions I am completely tired of seeing is every defending hit sticking, and every ball carrier being able to spin like Barry Sanders.

Playing my first game now, and the fix to defenders auto-strafing when starting too close to the LOS is very nice.

Well another Madden tournament coming up in 2 weeks, so that is why they still working on the game. Money on the line. If they weren't having these tournaments, they would have been stopped these updates back in December.

Do you normally play with auto-strafe "on"?

No, but it could be triggered anyway if your user player is too close to the LOS at the snap. There were some insane manual pass rushes that showed up after one of the early patches, and that was the fix.

Sounds like a good reason to be thankful for the competitive scene.

The fact we have to go back to barry sanders as an example tells you all you need to know about the “spin move”. That **** is garbage to me
