Bug (Be Specific): My screen is showing that I have a 53 man roster when I actually only have 32 players on the roster. Therefore, I am not able to have more than 32 players on a week to week basis. I am able to sign free agents, but am forced to cut down to 32 players before I advance the week. I read that this is a display problem that could be caused from trading players. This is only started at the beginning of the regular season. When I go to the Contract Negotiations screen, I can see additional "hidden" players on my team that I can not see in any other screen like Roster or Salaries. If I try to cut these players, I receive the message "This player is no longer on your roster or practice squad." However, the hidden player still appears on my team even though I've tried to cut him. I believe these "hidden" players is what causing the system to think I have a full 53 man roster when I only have 32 man roster.

Game Mode Experienced In: CFM

Can you reproduce it? How?: Yes it occurs every week during the regular season. I'm at Week 3 and still not able to carry over more than 32 players into the Week 4. If I try to add more players and advance the week, the CPU will start cutting the additional players, mistakenly believing that the roster is over 53 players. The CPU cuts the players even though I have set this ability to MANUAL in the league settings. I am currently in Year 3 of CFM and this bug only started at the beginning of the regular season in Year 3. I was still able to carry 75 players during the preseason.

OMG! I've been searching for answers for this! I even spent and wasted time trying to get EA to tell me how to fix it or how to reverse it and why it was happening at all in the first place.

How did you figure this out? That makes so much sense!

It's pretty lame their issues around something as simple as the name. I've just tried to add "II" to people who's names have "Jr" because it annoyed me that their was no "period" after it. As in, "Jr.". They never once eluded to it being something so simple.

Instead, their tech support reps had me power cycle, reinstall, renew my licenses and rebuild my database in safe mode, and all to no avail.

To think, it's been this simple all along! So stupid!

Why can't Derwin James simply be changed to Derwin James II without a cyber face going missing? Why can't the fix the keyboard to allow the "period"? Why can't name or rename someone Touraj Houshmandzadeh Jr.?

So lame EA! For YEARS!

Have you or has anyone found that this is reversible? If you were to change Deshaun Watkins name back to Watson and play another game or advance in some way, would his cyber face come back?

Can you reproduce it? How?: It became an ongoing problem

I don't know what happened but I wanted to play a game in Madden after a few days and the whole game just becume incredibely fast, like it was set to 2x speed - the games, the animations, even the menu. I opened the game, loaded my offline franchise, downloaded a new draft class (as it is the first weeks of year 3 on my Franchise) and the game was just unplayable thanks to fast paced movements. I restarted my whole console, but this happened to basic exhibition games too (I play offline only.)

Am I the only one experience this:
