Hopefully this gets patched in the near future, however, after doing a few sims (5) I realized backup QB's are demanding too much money. This has lead to the league keeping rookie, or very lowly rated QB's for backups. You have guys like Brock Osweiler demanding 11 million a year.

I noticed the base salary demand is low, but RG3 wanted a 8 million bonus?

I don't think this is that big of an issue. Starting QBs are making 20-30 million a year. A backup making 10 sounds about right.

Did Osweiler even make 1 million last year?

Honestly? I have no idea, I don't even know what team he was on. But contracts are now based on how similar rated players at that position are being paid. So if there's rookies and second year guys making 10 million a year then I would assume that the free agents would be asking for around that. Contracts obviously aren't perfect but still better than previous years in my opinion.

I wish EA would bring back the production rating and have that tie into contracts also. It would help in these situations and others as well.

I couldn't agree more. They need variables to help with getting these things more in line with where they should be.
