Off-Ball Injuries?

I've got mine at the default 40 so I'll up it. Does that seem like a good spot for you? It seems like only my stars get injured at 40. Always my #1 WR, QB and #1 RB.

I mentioned before that after last Friday's patch, I saw an off ball injury. Well, last night, I played sim mode in CFM and jacked the sliders up to 100.

Well, there were 12 injuries in about 17 plays but not one single off ball injury. But hey... I did notice one major difference from last year's game: in last year's game, a injury almost always meant being gone for at least the full game if not more. At least I'm seeing injuries lasting for about quarter.

52 is a definite sweet spot for me both in played games and advancing my week.

Does the injury slider really affect sims tho? In the front end main menu under injury slider the description says... adjust this to make less/more in played games. Or something to that effect.

100% absolutely. It has been tested ad nausea.

The higher it is when you advance the week.....the larger amount of injuries. We run dozens of test sims to arrive at the value we use when we advance. And this year after the update 1.10 we are going 52/52 for both played and simulated games.

In my offline franchise with the injury slider at 50 I finally got my first o-line off ball injury in my 9th game. But seeing injuries at every other position quite realistically in my opinion.

It is rare and it is highly annoying. I pray EA takes notice. This has to be tuned back.

OL backups are useless again. What gives? Competitive tournament players complain all year?

I thought we have different modes for a reason simulation/competitive/arcade

So what is the deal?
