So I may have missed this being discussed but would a simple workaround for solo franchises would be to control all 32 teams. After taking control of all teams, set everything to auto and let the cpu run their business on the other 31 teams that the user isn’t focused on. I guess the question from there is how does the 5th year option scenario operate under these circumstances?

Absolutely. It wasn't just X-Factor backs I saw making these moves in the game - WR's and KR's who are not X-Factors were as well. But to answer the question specifically ....yes, after this game I turned abilities off and still saw the same players making the same moves. The success rate seems lower, but that's not really surprising. The potential's still there for plays to break big, X-Factor or no.

The problem ran MUCH deeper than the superstar ability level - Clint explained pretty well what happened and why in the stream (which now has a VoD).

I forget, in Madden 20 can we start Franchise mode with up to date rosters, standings, stats?

Like if I wanted to start a CFM as of Week 12 with everything accurate, can I do that?

Doesn't look like the equipment additions made it into already existing franchises. Disappointing, I was hoping to see the new neck pad options.
