Beware if you're thinking about buying ps5 disc-free version

I agree the quoted part in the first post is misleading but the article is there for all to read and you've perfectly articulated what it means throughout the thread.

The title in and of itself however was not misleading and is an accurate warning.

The PS4 edition isn't likely to be "dirt cheap" until some point after the PS5 is released. The last few years, it hasn't even gone to $30 until the following Spring.

And I know that younger guys might think I'm foolish, but I just can't fully trust a digital copy of something. I need the disc.

Madden 20 was 30$ after 2 months of release at Best Buy
Hell some places had it at 30 after a month.

Digital to me in this case is just where it’s at. Definitely if u getting the Ps5 version and still own a ps4. So cop the ps4 game in August. Then when the PS5 come out u got madden already. I hope 2k does this so bad.

I’m old and the opposite. I’ve definitely had more issues with discs than digital over the lifespan of my PS4.
