When was the last time you've seen a muffed kick return?

The commentary said I muffed a punt return today even though I didn't. I don't think I've seen any between M20 and M21. Has anyone seen one recently or are these no longer in the game?

I muffed a kickoff in my own end zone this evening, actually.

I was admittedly deliberately messing around on the left thumb stick prior to fielding the ball and didn't let my guy field the ball cleanly, and he subsequently failed to do so. The commentators called it correctly.

I've had it happen in 4:30 games when the guy who was catching the ball was standing in the sun.

If you’re not perfectly lined up to catch it (you moved the returner instead of letting the CPU position him) you have a chance to muff it. KR rating also plays a role here. I have used burners in the past to field punts, but if they had a low rating they were more likely to struggle with the catch.

Usually I let tue returner field the ball himself. When I've moved him myself to return a kick I haven't seen a muff. I did hear commentary how i muffed it even though that did not happen.
