I'm pretty sure draft order is messed up in the event of ties. I think it goes in alphabetical order in some situations. Tiebreakers aren't coded right especially in playoff seeding sometimes where you could sim a season and force wins to mirror the real season and the playoff seeding will be different.

I've heard that if you start in week 17 and force win from there it works. Something about the playoffs messes it up.

OP - I have done this myself this week to start a new franchise and here is how I did it. And yes, it's tedious and a lot of work.

- Force win/loss for all 17 weeks of regular season per real life results. Bengals/Eagles in Week 3 was a tie in real life, which screws everything up. Giving the Bengals a loss here helps save a little time

- Force win/loss for all playoff games per real life results

- The order will be correct for picks 1-3 and 10-32.

- To fix errors with picks out of order between 4-9, you can manually create a new character to control each one of these teams' head coaches, and trade the picks around until the order is correct. To create a new character, click in RS at the menu, tap LB to navigate to characters, and choose the option to create a new character. When you attempt a trade between two teams that are user controlled, the trade goes through automatically. After correcting the errors, you can retire the other characters so these teams are no longer user-controlled.

- I also did the same steps as above to perform the Eagles/Fins/49ers pick swaps from last week

Overall it took about ~45 minutes. I have a franchise file saved on my Xbox right before draft day with all of these changes and a realistic draft class. More than willing to share this file with you if this is possible! Not sure if it is.
