Those are likely placeholder ratings. Last year the ratings for rookies in the beta were not their final ratings because EA didn't want that to be spoiled yet.

Those are just place holder ratings. Every year in the beta the rookies are 50s

There's still a lot id like to see as far as customization and admin controls for franchise. Luckily it seems like they are being mindful of that when adding new features. A lot more Sliders and toggles for newly added options.

Weekly coaching staff goals:

You can select weekly goals for your Head Coach, Defensive Cord and Offensive Cord to earn coaching XP points to be used in the coaching Skill Trees.

And the variety is nice with 10 goals for each coach you cans select weekly. I want to see if these are static or change week to week.

Guys…..Franchise Mode is looking awesome.

Did EA accidentally upload Madden 21 in place of this beta? I seriously feel very little if any difference. Time for a new engine and some serious work to be done.

About the only thing that seems somewhat different is the addition of performance mode with fewer dropped frames. Speaking on gameplay specifically.

After playing around for a few hours it seems the dev team is hamstrung by an either or approach.

Just because franchise was neglected doesn't mean you go 110% franchise and don't really add anything to gameplay. This is the first Madden I can say from a gameplay perspective feels nearly identical to its predecessor.

Well shucks. You are most likely right!! Never thought of that.

Well does not deter from the improvements we are already-seeing inside franchise mode.

Gameplay impressions coming soon. I want a decent sampling first before commenting on gameplay.

Playing franchise week one Fins at Patriots.

AI caught me cold.

3rd and 2

Cam play action fake to White…we bit. Over the top 57 yard TD to Hunter Henry.

On “Pro” level and yes I am already testing sliders lol!!!

Gameplay has been butter smooth so far.

Visually? Easily the most gorgeous Madden yet.

Post play replays are sick on 22 folks. The frame rate is butter.

Love the new score bug!!

I will be playing many franchise games tonight as I head out of town this weekend tomorrow morning for a baseball tourney.

We will also run some franchise sims for you stat heads and post some sim stats for rushing QB’s and leaders around the league.

Audio is excellent.

Lot’s of positives so far!!!

But wish they would bring back Referees on the field and post huddle full walk up to the center.
