Thanks for the reply! Sucks that it will be M23 before that is touched. I am really looking forward to everything I have watched/read about in franchise - but CPU cap issues can really ruin the experience.

They did a lot for this one after supporting 21 so long, at least we can clear cap penalties to help people out

Re: Contracts in CFM

I suspect that two things will happen before release, player contracts will be adjusted to artificially create cap space and the salary cap that we had in th beta will be raised significantly to allow teams to sign players. It's a crappy workaround however, I'm fairly confident one of those two things will be done.

That’ll be dope if one (or both) happens! Not ideal but something has to happen.

From what I understand (I didn’t confirm this just going what another person said) is that it’s 188.4m this year then projected to go up 18m next season and 230m the following year which will help as by then most teams big contracts on older players will be done.

I assume this will be the case in CFM as well, in 21 it went up 12m a season I believe

I remember this same thing happening in the beta for Madden 20 too. It's always going to b messed up until they're able to rework their contract system and code in the changes needed to make it somewhat realistic.

I’d hope they could make a restructuring option that has a slider to edit each individual year.

Or you could change salary to bonus which would use your funds.. and give you the ability to “buy” some wiggle room per say

Re: Contracts in CFM

I'd love it this year, but man if contracts got hit hard for M23 that would be massive. That's been #1 on my wishlist for years. Swami said in one of the podcasts that he has read the whole CBA. That's the type of person we need to deliver a true to life contract system.
