Coach mode, owner mode?

Correct me if I’m wrong here. In coach mode we are locked to that coach, meaning we can’t fire that coach and hire a new one? If I’m wanting to do a franchise with a team but want total control over who my coaches are what options would I need to select. As it seems right now that I can fire my offensive and defensive coordinators but not my head coach.

The more I look at it, the more Owner Mode might be up my alley. What things are we NOT able to do as owner that we can do with coach?

I’m curious about this too… I always do coach because of the scenarios but is it a bit different this year now that we have coordinators?

Owner mode gives you complete control of your franchise. You can hire/fire staff, adjust ticket/merch prices, etc.



You still have full roster control as well. You are basically the GM/Owner of your franchise. I can't really think of anything off the top of my head that you can't do in Owner mode.

Well it does make sense being locked to a coach since we are that coach lol. But there def is an issue if you are fired and can’t get another job.

The biggest drawback to Owner Mode, unless they changed it in M22, is that you don’t really get “scenarios” throughout the season. Of course, some may prefer to not have scenarios.

True but you get media questions with your answers being accountable if your right or wrong if I remember correctly.

So is it best to create your own coach, instead of using a real life coach?
