Actually it looks like the tab is always there. I just assumed it wouldn’t show up until after regular season games had been played and never thought to look for it before I found it.

Looks like it has something resembling 2020 statistics during the 2021 preseason. Offensive linemen, kickers, and punters never have Next-Gen Stats, and there are no Next-Gen Stats categories displayed for pass defense.

It also looks like simulated regular season game stats aren’t populating the new tables correctly for QBs, WRs, and TEs. I assume there’s a missing update for SuperSim to record the data necessary for those plays. Again, I don’t think this is a finished feature.

Being a football gamer & madden player for 20 years. Its been one heck of ride.

But let's be honest they don't even track stats that have been in the game for 8+ years properly (Catches allowed, passes defended, drops, tackles & sacks)

Madden isn't in the market of delivering or nailing "the little things" for authenticity sake.

I mean color me as a pessimist.

Next gen stats & data is a fantastic entity IRL, but again when the game isn't tracking tackles, sacks, and the others mentioned... surely they aren't going to be able to live up to the exact branding: Next gen stats in which they are using.

Id love for my assumptions to be wrong but I guarantee until it gets patched it will probably only show data in forms listed in my previous post.


I mean there's reason why after playing games in franchise many of tables remain blank or untracked...

I just don't get why put the work in to include it in their game if it isn't: accurate or functional. .

Not seeing this on Series X during Wk 2 of the regular season in a cloud cfm. How did you get to it? Was there a certain screen you pulled the player card up from?

I created a new cloud Franchise of PS5 (the day I made my OP, and also today) and it's just part of the Player Card. Nothing special to it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
