I do agree the step to ps1 was universal and that takes me this next gen set of consoles we have now. Now I know people criticize 2k, FIFA, and NHL among other sports titles all show some improvements. But it’s the other games that show the real innovation these consoles can bring. But Madden just seems so lackluster. Madden titles used to get me excited when new consoles come out, but now I am just meh. The thought we could have Madden with a dynamic gaming experience like changing weather (my pet peeve of course) excellent commentary, crowds that follow the action, fleshed out team personnel, the list goes on. But ggsimmonds I am with you 100 on this.

The jump to ps2 was crazy as well. Graphically the jump to ps5 was good. Everything else was not.

You are right ps2 had some really cool things and now that I am series x graphics is not bad. But I would for Madden to use all their resources of hardware and personnel and gives us the game we see played every Sunday. Examples changing weather and seasons, aging football fields throughout the season, players having to deal with lingering injuries then wearing gear that allows them to play through pain. Remember the ankle tape being applied if you sprained (spats) your ankle. The list just goes on and on.
