Coach Mode Sliders based on Mike32Ownz's sliders

First, I want to thank Mike32Ownz for giving me permission to tweak his regular sliders for us Coach Mode players. Mike is not a Coach Mode player, so he has allowed me to create a new thread for those of us that are.

Now, I do not claim to be any kind of expert, I am just someone that each year tries to find a good set of sliders so that I can have some kind of competitive games without always blowing teams out or always getting blown out, while at the same time getting fairly realistic stats.

How I originally came up with these sliders was by setting both teams to Mike's CPU offensive sliders and both to Mike's human defensive sliders. Doing this gave me really competitive games. I am continuing to monitor Mike's updates and testing newer versions of his sliders, so I will update as needed.

I want to be clear that I am not saying these are the best Coach Mode sliders, but they have worked for me and I have really enjoyed them so far.

Quarter Length 12-15 minutes (I've been using 13 minutes)

I tried these last night, because I'm totally down with coaching. The only thing I had trouble with, is the players breaking tackles. This might need to be lowered, just a few notches, or the tackling upped a few, in my opinion. It did have a very good feel to the game. Running was effective.

Thanks for posting these. I posted my own set and it has it's flaws. Like you, I'm also looking to improve. At least we have some options out there, for us coaching fanatics.

Here is a set I've experimented with tonight. Played two games as Cowboys against the Saints. Lost the first 7-13 and won the second 35-10. Just got better offensive production in second game and got a cheap TD when Saints went for it with 5:47 left in 4th qtr on own 8 and Barber scored on run.

Elway7, Thanks for the advice. The set I tested last last night does reduce the broken tackles, but maybe too much. I will probably tweak them again (35 for broken tackles) and report findings.

Looks like there are several of us with CM sliders now, so between us all we should have a really good set by the Week 1 roster update which is when I will start my "official" franchise.
