I go with the ratings that EA gives players, sure the players themselves and fans of certain teams think certain players should have higher ratings but that is just being biased imo. At any rate the player ratings ARE updated in roster updates and are actually more accurate imo as the player progresses throughout the year.

You overestimate our importance, the % of Madden's total sales EA generates from the folks like us is so tiny as to be insignificant.

Rating's will need to be edited... I'm a Giants Fan, but Plaxico Buress having a 92 SPEED Rating is a little over-the-top.

I didn't say the various sports sites have no influence, but facts are facts. OS is the largest sports gaming site on the web, and it's current membership is a mere 46,794. Madden routinely sells 2 million + copies every year. Even if every single member bought the game (and we know that's not likely), that represents less that 0.02% of Madden's total sales.

In the overall scheme of things we, the hardest of hardcore sports gamers, are the proverbial drop in the bucket.

and i love chris cooley (im a skins fan) but no way hes a 98
