What are the chances Ian and Co. being 1 and done?

Anything can happen, but I'd be shocked. The game would have to fail for that to happen, and I doubt that's going to happen.

If this game gels properly, I see no reason why it won't be the series' first run-away success this gen. And if it does gel, I see no reason why it won't be equally successful with the real critics... us.

While anythings possible, but I highly doubt it. I think Ian has been a good ambassador for EA, and the Madden franchise. As long as no disaster strikes this years game...I believe Ian & Co will be around for at least the foreseeable future.

Seems doubtful but its EA so pretty much anything can happen. I really want EA to hire a game developer from Nintendo to actually show these idiots how games WORK. I think it would really help to make a more rounded game and would be a whole new perspective to the Madden franchise. I don't think Madden is in danger if losing value seeing how people by it almost religiously now.

Why would they be one and done? They took a game that was eitehr A) a turd or B) turning into a turd and are trying to polish it up and turn it around. It takes more than a year to get some of the crap out of there and fix it. Just like rebuilding a team, its not a one year thing. You lay the foundation and work with what you have.
