I'm playing 15 min quarters with 25 second runoff AC... I get 120 - 130 plays a game ...

Why not just do 7 min quarters and turn accelerated clock off?

Also like someone posted earlier, this is how I am counting plays:
I've never used accelerated clock but I'm considering it for this years version so I may sound stupid when I ask this question but doesn't that go towards adembroski's point about clock management? The length of time it takes to play the game maybe the same but isn't the # of plays going to be greater or more realistic if you use the longer length?

I simmed a season for a friend earlier because he was curious too. From what I remember, here were the league leaders:

Tom Brady- 47 TD passes, 117.0 passer rating (led league in both)
Brandon Jacobs- 6.0 YPC ()
Randy Moss- 17 TD catches

lol, I know that's probably of almost no help.

Also, I seriously hope they patch the QB quick snap. That would make 15/15 perfect for me.

Does game length and accelerated clock have any affect on simulatd game stats?

12 and 15 seems to work pretty well.

Re: 15 Minute quarters/15 sec accelerated clock = SIMULATION HEAVEN

It's an interesting thread this. I've always played fairly patiently but never wanted to play full games.

However after playing The Show and a couple of other sports games, it got me thinking: 'There are maximum 19/20 games in a football season. If it takes me 90 mins to complete a game, then so be it'. A season will be finished in three weeks with just one game a day. In real life the football season is pretty short so playing a full 15 min game is the way to get into every game and enjoy them.

Realistic stats will also amount to better player progression, more realistic awards and pro-bowl voting, so everyone's a winner really. Well, maybe except the Lions! (hopefully we'll do ok this year :P)

Your franchises will move at a steadier pace this way too, meaning you will probably savour it more than playing 2 seasons a week with games at just less than an hour.

the accelerated clock is a good idea, because if you know the play you want to run, you can be ready to snap the ball with 32, 33 secs left on the play clock.

How exactly does it run the time off? With 15 ACC, do you start 'in the huddle' with 25 secs on the play clock? Or does it take the time from after you choose your play?

It runs the clock after you pick your play
