Funny, I actually like the game on very slow or slow. Maybe Im getting slower in my older ages. Madden 08 and 09 were way to fast. I like to be able to pull off some moved and see things happening.

I am glad EA included a slider to adjust the speed. I cranked the speed up a notch but I hated the last couple of year's. The game moved so fast you basically couldn't play, but only react. Or, in many cases decide what you were going to do before the ball was snapped.

I was going to ask this exact same question.

Someone is going to give you a fancy answer, but i guarentee you it has everything to do with how cheesers can't take advantage of "speed" rather than using just a Liiiiitttle bit of strategy.

In reality, if someone compared "Slow" and "Normal" mode with actuall NFL game footage, there probably wouldnt be THAT much difference.

The difference is, they made it more sim this year, and the speed of the game and players has little to do with it.

If you get an honest answer about this from a cheeser, i'll be shocked. The reason, I think, I know this is because I like to cheese, "OFFLINE", but i do prefer realism over winning. If i can get the stats and scores to come close to real life, then i'm happier, even if I lose.

but you can please everyone simply with user choice. make normal ranked lobbies and slow ranked lobbies. that way u can choose to got to "normal east 2" or "slow east 2". online franchise should be the commishes choice between all the speeds in the game. unranked should be defaulted to normal for quick games but if u set up a custom unranked, u can choose any of the 5 speeds you want.

now tell me that wouldnt stop all these threads and make 90% of everybody happy...cmon...i dare ya

After playing about ten games on this speed, I really like it. It is not that much slower than normal. I think people need to just give it a chance. I think it also looks better at this speed also. If I had to vote on it. I would say leave it on slow.
