Madden 2003 was one of my favorites. But hands down, it has to be "John Madden Football" for the SNES.

Not much love for 2004, which I thought was the best. 07 on the PS2 is a close second though.

I have trouble "loving" any PS2 version from 2007 and onward. It's not that the game wasn't solid, it's just that by that time the whole thing felt stale to me.

Which is totally different than right now.

At least 07 had an amazing 'chise.

Madden 04 and Madden 08, both for PS2.

M-06' PS2.

Because it had the best aspects of M-05's great F-Mode, minus the kinks.

It also had the first year of SS-mode (the only year that it was fun to play). And it was the only time that SS-Mode had commentators.

I would have to say 2001 got the most play time from me.

It used to be Madden '04, but I went back and played it about 2 months ago - CAN'T DO IT. Too much has been innovated since that it's unplayable.

I'm enjoying Madden 11 - but not more than I did '04.
