Awesome - I think Slow is my favorite speed, and your sliders at least made Fast playable for me, so I can't wait to see what your slow sliders will bring!

I'm currently waiting to hear a response from Ian Cummings about gameplay speeds. I hope he replies

I know what I've seen and read w/ all the feedback. I just hope Ian can give some info on Gamespeeds to us.

I had the passing sliders at the lowest for me and was getting at best 40%. I decided to up the passing sliders to the highest and make the CPU's pass defense a little to the low side because I have a cupcake team. Now I can definitely pass a little more efficiently.

I also agree with the game speed on slow. I hate not being able to catch the INT returners.

This is some comments by Ian about Madden 10 way back in March.

-- Overall Game Speed --
After all of above changes were made, we all really were enjoying the way the game started to feel. It was much more realistic...and gave off a much less 'frantic' feel (if that makes sense). We had one more big area to tackle though - and that was GLOBAL game speed. While playing Madden NFL 09, often times you may have felt like the result of the play was "scripted"...everything happened so fast that it was often very difficult to have an influence on the outcome of the play. On running plays, holes closed up immediately. On passing plays, defensive backs came out of nowhere to deflect a pass. For Madden NFL 10 we knew that we all preferred a slower game - one that felt more 'sim' and more realistic. But this is often a hotly contested topic. This poll proves that people never can seem to agree on game speed. So what did we do? Well first we decided to decrease the game speed by 5% overall. As subtle as that change to game speed may sound, it has drastically improved the overall control of the game. It is definitely easier to identify the hole created by the offensive line. Scanning the field as routes develop make it easier to keep passes out of harm's way. But we know that not everyone wants that style, so we also included a GAME SPEED SLIDER. Finally right? How Game Speed Changes (+ a Slider) Affects Gameplay: Control +7, Realism +10, Customization +7

------------------------------------------------------------

This just proves that Slow/Slower speeds was the best for realism.
I would like to see the pocket form and be able to step up in it for once. Slow does this!

I would like to see how guys brk off blks and make plays. Slow does this!

I would like to see the best animations. Slow does this!

Now I am testing w/ TH 75 and some tuff cpu sliders. I will get back to everyone asap.

So I know I was on the Fast fix for awhile but, after reading and looking back at the feedback, I have flip-flopped.
Slow is better for a number of reasons. Which Ian even points out some.
Here are some comments back when guys were trying my original slider set w/ slow and TH 75.

Also using the left stick "Show Blitz" function, they get a lot closer to the line and don't need to go as far to get to the QB.

Time of Possession - 16:55/31:05 (This was even at half but I took the lead and started running out the clock in the second)

Eagles Individual Stats

McNabb: 92 Rating.. 24/39.. 61%.. 219 Yards.. 3TD.. 1INT.. 5.6Avg.. 25 Longest Pass
Westbrook: 24 Att 119 Yards.. 4.9 avg.. 1 TD.. 16 Long.. 5 Rec 42 Yards
McCoy: 3 Att 8 Yards
Maclin: 6 Rec 69 Yards
8 Diff recievers 3 Drops
3 Pancakes
2 Sacks Bunkley and Parker
3 People with 6 solo tackles
Akers: Barely made 52 yarder
Punter: 45.2 Avg

Titans Individual Stats

Kerry Collins: 99.8 Rating.. 18/26.. 69%.. 270 Yards.. 1TD.. 1 Int.. 45 Long
Chris Johnson: 20 Att.. 88 Yards.. 1TD
White: 1 Td
N. Washington: 5 Rec 53 Yards
10 Diff receivers 4 drops
No pancakes
Bulluck: 6 Solo 5 Assist
2 Total Sacks

Overall Good Game.

Minor Problems
Flats were ok or the usual
CPU gets TERRIBLE blocking on Kick Returns
Kerry Collins was too difficult to sack unless it was a coverage sack, probably because of his awareness (I'll take 2 sacks though)
Can anyone recommend me a threshold for slow?

How do you count the total plays?

Pg. 1 sliders were for fast or normal speeds.

I'm working on slow w/ 75 right now.

It seems to be more effective(on slow) when making slider adjustments, so it shouldn't be but another day or so before I have a good slow set to play with.

I'm tweaking the sliders for O-line and D-line right now. I feel this is were the sliders matter the most.

I want to see players like Casey Hampton and Albert Haynesworth draw a double team b/c of the pressure they can bring up the middle.

I think w/ Albert Haynesworth ratings he should win a 1 on 1 battle 9 out of 10 times. It shouldn't be a stalmate unless the O-line is just as strong and has good ratings to hold him up.

What I'm finding is that w/ more realistic O-line and D-line interaction its also giving more realistic passing pcts. at default(50) qb acc.

So these will be different then the ones on pg.1.

Thanks and I should have the slow set up tonight or tomorrow.
