Kind of off-topic here but I'm still not 100% sure how to best utilize the slide blocking. I find on a lot of carries, I have a guy or two in the backfield before my back even has the ball.

I've played I think 4 games with these sliders and loved everyone of them but really really struggling with the run.

If you could help me out with this feature that would be great. Thanks for these sliders Authentic - they make for a fun game!

yea running the ball is extremely difficult for me even when i use the slide protection feature. any suggestions to tweak the sliders to help make running a little easier (i have no idea how or what each slider effects) without breaking the great game experience ive been getting with these sliders?

Alright fellas, I think I have an update that is going to make some of you extremely happy. I decided to sort of overhaul my first slider set and try to improve them even more. I just won with the Jags 37-16 with these, however, the score was closer than it seems. These make the game play more like the NFL I feel with more short passes and less big runs, but still that big run to keep the averages up. If you watch AP run, he rarely has five 6 yard carries in a row, it might be a 1 yard, 3 yard, 1 yard, and then a 15 yard. That's how football is. I will post these as soon as I get done with homework I have! Watch the thread for the next 30 minutes and they'll be posted!

Re: Finding the Perfect Slider Set Post Patch 2

using slide protection on runs normally depends on the kind of runs u choose. If I am trying to get to the outside with a fast back,(like on stretch plays)i usually slide protect the line the opposite way.It seals the edge for you to get outside. If I run Power O,I slide to the run slide,it sets up cutback lanes. Runs up the gut u go aggressive....see if that helps you guys any. And LAY OFF THE SPEED BURST until you make your cuts.

This is wierd. I've played 6 games so far with these sliders and have yet to see any penalties other then holding. I'm getting only one holding call a game and nothing else. One game I played had not one flag thrown. I have false starts at 100 and everything set right. I see some people here have games where they see 100 pnalty yards. I'm stumped. Sliders play great though. Thanks

Sorry guys, not trying to make excuses but it's finals week here and my 3 finals are today and tomorrow. If I can get my studying done here in the next hour, I'll get my finals tweaks in and post an update. Sorry for the miscommunication on that. I'm just trying to get these right on. Stay with me guys!
