Re: Cpu vs Cpu Madden 11

when I watch CPU vs. CPU I rarely see sacks whether they run a 4-3 or 3-4 defense. This doesn't even change when I raise the pass rush setting of the CPU skill to 95 and drop the Pass blocking rating. Anyone seeing more sacks??

I watched a game with the default settings and saw Stafford (Lions) get knocked all over the place by the 49ers. They pressured him quite a bit and ended up with 4 sacks. The Lions actually finished with 3 of their own.

Ok, this may be a stupid question, and I apologize for that. What exactly is coach mode? I've never done it or used it in the past so Im not sure.

Re: Cpu vs Cpu Madden 11

QB will pass the ball after YOU snap, if you do nothing to take control.
Really all you do is call the play and snap and let the CPU do the rest.
...kinda like coaching

Playing coach mode you essentially just call the plays and watch the CPU play it out. However, you still have to control all of the kicking. The coach mode setting, when turned on, let's the CPU control your QB so that he will throw the football. With it off, you are responsible for making throws. Coach mode can be a lot of fun. I am in an online coach mode dynasty for NCAA 11 and it's a blast.

I enjoy playing coach mode for my franchise, and more so since you can design your own gameplan. What I have done is I have taken my coaches gameplan and tweeked it and added some plays while leaving others for both offense and defense. It is a lot of fun and i am enjoying this years game.

I've never understood why you have to control kicking in coach mode. Everything else on the field is controlled by the CPU why not that?
