And ofcourse keep in mind that good players/team will play better than the lesser talented players/teams. Also don't forget to check the DPP each game and evaluate how each players on both teams doing on one on one matches.

for example, Darrell Revis should shutdown most of the receivers and Dware will beat out pretty much every players blocking him, and if not at least first to put pressure on QB in passing downs besides Jay Ratliff.

Oh and traits for QBs. some likes to hold onto the ball longer but doesn't throw many picks some are the opposite

Never mind.Do not raise the pass blk. It ruins the pass rushing and field goals. I saw my tackle 15yrd away from my QB trying to block on passing down and my QB had a whole dance floor size pocket for himself.

Just lower the "pass rush" if you're getting too many sacks. Personally it works fine with me at 35. sometimes I get 1 or none, sometimes 4-5 sacks per game depends on who I'm playing. It will all even out to 2+ sacks per game.

Ofcourse I play with Dallas so I have Dware and Jay Ratliff, and aggressive Rob Ryan's defense result in better numbers of sacks than average.

H*** yeah that's what I like to hear!!! Thanks and glad you like it. It will be huge if you could upload stats etc...so if there's a problem it could be fixed/adjusted.

Re: Blue Ninja's madden 12 all-madden "franchise mode" slider

I like the sliders. The CPU is getting a good completion record, has good YPC, and the scores are varied. However, my big concern is with tackles. I've been trying to find something that can fix it for so many years now, I'm starting to give up hope. Simmed games always have LBs making the most tackles; the top usually with 10+. However, any game I actually play ends with a DB having a majority of the tackles. I have noticed with this set of sliders that LBs tend to be on the top, yet CBs still are matching them. Playing as the Ravens, Ray Lewis had 10 tackles (was happy seeing that) however Smith, my CB, also had 10 tackles. Seems to me that DBs still are able to get to the ball carrier quicker and take him down faster than LBs.

I don't care too much if the game plays realistic to NFL standards, as long as it is in keeping with simmed stats. Do you know of a way to change the simmed stats so perhaps CBs get more tackles while LBs get less? That would fix the problem too. It's just a pain to see at the end of the season that my player with the most tackles is a DB.

Do you mean more for LBs and less for CBs right?

But anyway fortunately yes there is a solution that could make it better. I don't have problem with stats but it's probably because of playing style.

Here are possible solution to your problem

1. More zone defense when winning in the 2nd half. In NFL teams are trying to just win no matter what it takes. By 1 point or 30 points win is a win and that's all that matters.
(for example) Lets say you're winning by 2tds(or 2scoing points between 9-16 points.) your opponents needs 4 perfect drives in 15 minutes. So as a defense unit you're gonna try to "stall" them as much as you can rather than "stop" them which is more likely to be riskier, you could let them score as long as it takes good amount of time. Last thing you want is to take a risk and let them have a quick score. Therefore D coordinators calls more zone defense(likely many cover3 or 4) majority of the time, because it will be much harder to complete long passes while it is easier for opponents to complete short passes which will keep the clock running, and defensive players are facing the entire field so they react much quicker than when they are running blind trying to chase their assigned player. when they do complete short passes there's a high chance your LBs will get there before anybody else. That is their job in these situation. "bend but don't break". If they line up in a 4 or 5 receiver set that would be different though. Since they don't have extra blocker they won't hold the pass rush for long so you could still come in nickle defense where you have 2-4 LBs and play zone since Zone defense is more effective against gifted athletic receivers since it requires more field "intelligence/awareness" rather than equally gifted athleticism to keep up with the opponents athletes.

anyway bottom point is call more deep zone, less risky plays.

When the game is close they should be running the ball as they should depends on who you're playing.

When you're losing, your LBs will get those tackles even if you don't want to anymore since they are gonna be running more often than usual.

As a offensive unit you're gonna be doing the exact opposite. Try to take your sweet a** time running or completing short passes. The 3rd down conversion and first downs are the better.

2. Just simply lower "tackle" slider to 30 or less, which will give you more missed tackles. Don't worry it will affect the lower rated tacklers(CBs) more than higher rated tackler(LBs). Like maybe you'll see 4 to 5 more missed tackles by CBs while maybe only 1 to 2 more for LBs(ratings will matter no matter what the slider is, slider is for general univarsal effectiveness).

One more thing cover 2 based defense will give a corners many chances to make a tackle.

Well that's about it, hope this will help. Let me know how it goes and if you have any question feel free ask me.

Thanks for using the sliders and feedback!!

Although there are some games in real life where a CB gets 8 or more tackles in a game. Just shouldn't be the case every game, but it all depends on defensive scheme.
