Re: Madden 25 Auto-Sub

Did anyone else notice the auto sub sliders in CFM are reversed? In the main menu "out" is listed first but in CFM "in" is listed first.

Also they revert to 50/50 as default in CFM instead of 60/80.

I bet you auto sub sliders are reversed in CFM and "out" is treated as "in"... and since "in" should always be higher than "out" the reversal causes guys to go out at 80 and never come back since they of course never "recover" to 60.

I wonder if setting auto subs in CFM to 70/70 would help guys go out when they get to 70 or lower, and they should come back in within a few plays when they get above 70. Maybe 80/80 would work too.

With default 50/50 and 50 fatigue I get NO AUTO SUBBING at all and I have to manually sub my RB's... it seems like only my starters play all the time. I'm gunna try 70/70 and 55 fatigue and see what happens.

I'd expect 6-8 minor injuries a game with 1 major. I can see your QB going down on the first sack.

6-8 minor injuries and 1 major I could live with.. At least 1 guy gets banged up on just about every other series in real life.

Okay I don't think my theory on auto subs being reversed is correct.

I have been playing with fatigue at 55 and all of the sliders at 65 out and 70 in. (I have QB 0/1 and RB at 75/80 and OLine at 50/60) (All others 65/70)

Those auto subs I actually have been getting decent results. Guys on my defense go out and come back in on long drives and I have not seen anyone disappeared in the fourth quarter. I have been looking very closely. Doing it this way my 2nd string players have been getting about 15% of the snaps. My 3rd stringers gets like a couple plays a game.

I'm not so sure that auto subs are bugged, I just think they made a change this year where your players can no longer fully recovered their fatigue in the later stages of the game.

So if by the 4th quarter players can no longer recover above 80 fatigue, and let's say you have sliders set up for 85 out and 90 in at RB... This could possibly be why players are disappearing. The game is programmed to not let them recover above so much fatigue near the end of the game. So if you have "in" set to a number they can never recover to; that's why they disappear.

Basically I think with 55 fatigue and both "in" and "out" set at 80 or lower... You should never see players disappear.

EDIT: oh, and I have injury set to 45.

Re: Madden 25 Auto-Sub

I recommend trying out these autosubs if you are okay with subbing manually and want to guarantee players play till they hit the wall before they come out for a play. Just played a full 15 minute QTR game and the fatigue had a realistic impact.

Quote:
AUTO SUBS (Final) UPDATE - after countless testing hours.....Auto-Subs do not work properly as it always results in players leaving the game (DE/DT/RB) and not returning. Also I found OL leaving and never returning. This was tested with 13 mins, 14 mins and 15 min quarters. Fatigue is now at 52.

Default.

OFFENSE:

QB Out: 1
QB In: 2
RB Out: 1
RB In: 2
WR Out: 1
WR In: 2
FB/TE Out: 50
FB/TE In: 50
OL Out: 1
OL In: 2

DEFENSE:

DT Out: 1
DT In: 2
DE Out: 1
DE In: 2
LB Out: 50
LB In: 50
CB Out: 50
CB In: 50
S Out: 50
S In: 50
Played with fatigue at 50 and injuries at 50 and saw a bunch of injuries, most minor and players came back in. Brady went down and was back by the next drive. Leveon Bell went out and came back. Had one guy on special teams get turf toe, hes the only one that didnt come back. Wilfork got injured late in the 4th and game was over before I noticed what happened to him. Amendola went out for the game. Edelmen got hurt, came back, got hurt again after picking up 5 catches.

Injury risk shoots up when players play while red.
