Man you would think that this trade permanently jinxed the Chargers or something. Hey man, if you want the bears to do better this your in YOUR franchise and Rivers is the guy to do it for you. Send the farm for him. I'm glad your liking how your bears go. Cause I tell you what, when I start my franchise and Alex Smith throws 50 touchdowns on pro mode to a wide open T.O. who has reconciled with my niners and someone criticizes, I still won't care. Cause for all its faults Madden does one thing. Allow me not to have the #1 pick in next years draft. So I say good trade! Real? Does it really matter as long as you're happy and you don't lose your #1 or 2 cb to injury?

The Chargers just ripped you off like whoa...

Just think about it...Justin Gage is a decent WR and is still getting better. Nathan Vasher is a very good CB, I don't know if he's pro-bowl material in real life, but clearly he is in the game...and 2nd round picks are quite valuable.

Phillip Rivers has taken what, 20 snaps in his career? 5th round picks are decent, but for a good CB, decent WR, and a 2nd rounder...you should be getting Drew Brees.

I wouldn't want Drew Brees either...at least not until he has another good season. One good year doesn't make a good qb. Like I said earlier, I would have just stuck it out with Orton, he has the potential to be as good as Brees or Rivers.
