This is why I don't touch online.

I played one game online in Madden 07, I haven't touched NCAA 08 online yet. I know I am just going to regret ever playing it online.

Sounds like another year for Madden where I will avoid online games...nothing new and none of that was really disappointing. I think next year though with a competitor that puts a lot into their online mode, they will have to stop ignoring all the problems and just how far back they are when it comes to online.

Looks like I'm buying Madden for the ps2 this year. There still has not been a year where the current gen hasn't outperformed the next gen games online. This goes for NCAA as well, their both smoother, more control, better ranking and stat keeping. It was just more fun, thats not how your supposed to move into next gen, by going backwards. I mean I want to see this game succeed but they truly do not care anymore because they know they have the support.

I get zero lag on any XBOX 360 online game I own. (I have enhanced DSL since I live right next to the node.) However, with Madden 06, NCAA 07, Madden 07 (before the patch), NHL 07, and NCAA 08... I've had lag fests.

I've heard some hypothesize that its "region specific", but who knows.
