Re: Madden 09 Demo Released, Impressions Here

You can also use the right stick in the play call screen to see the highlights of the previous play or the stats or the iq.....and if you click on the right stick during the small replay screen...it takes you to the regular full screen replay and you control the camera angles like you would in a retail version...sweet

none of this was in the dvd demo...

also if you drop back to far then the icons are gone from the receivers...

Also the deep ball has distance unlike the dvd demo...which it was hard to throw 45 yards deep

I threw from my own 30 yard line to the 5 yard line of the pats....

Re: Madden 09 Demo Released, Impressions Here

i was upset in the last dvd demo because the screen that you select a play did not allow you to hide the play like you do in ncaa which gives you 4 buttons to choose one of the 4 plays on the screen

in the old demo it was not like that but in this one is just like ncaa except that you have to press down on the left stick and then all 4 plays are assigned a button...

How similar does the gamplay feel to 08 from snap-to-snap?

last year when I was looking at the video from 08, I thought the snap to snap gameplay was very similar to 07, just with 60 fps. I bought it, assuming it had changed, and got burned.

Some of the gameplay from 09 gives me the 08 vibe, which can be expected because it's the "Madden identity." Does the game improve that identity, because I'm struggling within myself to find out if I'm tired of Madden because it's not fun, or am I just bored with the identity.

the game is still madden...this is not a new engine...if you dont like the madden engine then you wont like this game..

the game is much better then last year but the gameplay engine is the same...diff tweaks but the same engine...
