It seems that just about anyone with a clear path will break away ....don't know how much I like this yet. But I haven't seen much as far as clean breaks, seems that the gang tackling is better. Animations where the lineman or linebacker holds a guy and the team mate comes in to assist are plentiful...

maybe for some, especially stat freaks... but as far as general gameplay I don't think so. right now I think there will be some user adjustments ... I've quickly gotten better at coverage and reading how the computer will make plays. I've seen some +70% games. both ways.

What's the passing game like? Is it still basic Madden passing? In the demo I found the "touch" to be a bit weird on it and had some trouble putting the ball exactly where I wanted. This isn't to say I had trouble passing, but I had trouble passing the way I *wanted* to. Is it tighter in the final build?

doesn't feel much different from the demo...but it does seem to feel different with different qb's....right now im using brady and it feels unfair. So far I've been a.smith, d.anderson., mcnabb, j****ssell, and brady. Mcnabb felt better as far as touch it seemed. Im gonna concentrate on that a little more to make sure it's not just me though....lol

by the way, I reeeally dislike the robotic tone of tom hammond....also, and I know this may be in that patch that comes out next week, the kick coverage seems to be the same as ncaa. but the speed is different so they don't get to the 35-40. The corners just run straight down the field. uuuggh!

What system do you have the game for?

Not trying to turn this into a system war thread at all, but wondering if in fact you have ps3 version if there are any hiccups or anything that seems unusual?

I would recommend it. Its definitely fun...2 player is a lot of fun because of the human interaction on defense. Seems to alleviate the robo qb. And Im taking ea's word that the patches will address some minor issues.. If you enjoyed the brief time on the demo it's really good. Compared to ncaa, it's definitely more polished than that.. And I've never really liked madden since the 2k series. I don't know about longevity without sliders though???
